Carryt, a Colombian logistics software startup, has acquired Paket, a Chilean last-mile delivery platform built for small online sellers. The deal was reported in early March 2026 by El Ecosistema Startup, LatamList and Diario Financiero. According to Diario Financiero, the two sides shook hands in December 2025.
The price was not disclosed. Paket co-founder Sebastián Celedón told Diario Financiero that the structure was similar to the 2024 sale of Chilean logistics startup Rayo to Argentina's ClicOh, which combined shares and cash.
Paket's three founders are staying with the business for now. The plan is for Paket to start operating in 2026 in the countries where Carryt is already present, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil, beginning with pilots in Colombia in March.
From an Instagram shop to a delivery app
Paket's story starts in 2014 in Arica, in northern Chile. Celedón and Valentina Carvajal opened an Instagram account called SpaceStore to sell products imported from China. Diario Financiero reported that the shop billed $1 million in its first year and by 2019 had physical stores in Arica, Santiago and Viña del Mar, with 20 staff.
After Chile's 2019 social unrest and the pandemic, the pair closed the physical stores and moved fully into e-commerce. In 2021 they met Juan José Rodrigo, a developer who was then building his own logistics startup, GrinCargo, for which SpaceStore was at one point the largest customer. In 2022 the three launched Anymus, a tool that recorded psychologists' sessions and gave AI-generated feedback, before deciding it needed more resources than a bootstrapped team could provide.
At the end of 2022 they turned to logistics instead. Their first product promised deliveries in under 24 hours with no minimum number of parcels, aimed at individual sellers too small to be served well by large couriers. The first shipment went out in November, delivered by Rodrigo in his own car.
How Paket grew
The founders found early customers by sending around 100 Instagram messages a day to small sellers, Celedón told Diario Financiero. Paket sold $9,000 in its first month and ended 2023 with about $500,000 in sales, after moving into a 270-square-metre warehouse in San Miguel, in Santiago.
Sales reached about $2.2 million in 2024, when the company worked with 80 drivers and 20 warehouse staff. In 2025 Paket recorded about $4.4 million in sales with 150 drivers and 40 warehouse workers. Diario Financiero put its current customer base at around 11,000, mostly people selling clothing, accessories, food and household products. LatamList reported the figure as 10,000 active customers.
No outside funding for Paket was reported in the coverage of the deal.
How the deal came together
In mid-2025 Celedón wrote on LinkedIn to the chief executives of several regional logistics companies, including Chazki in Peru, ClicOh in Uruguay and Carryt in Colombia, according to Diario Financiero. Carryt chief executive Daniel Cuervo was interested in the number of customers Paket had signed up and the operation behind them.
The two sides talked over video calls for months. In September 2025 Cuervo said he wanted to buy the startup, and in November he travelled to Chile for Santiago Tech Week and visited Paket's founders and operations in person. The agreement followed in December.
Why Carryt is buying
Carryt develops AI software that plans delivery routes and helps small and medium-sized businesses cut logistics costs and carbon emissions. It operates in Colombia, Mexico and Brazil, and LatamList said the Paket deal gives it immediate access to a customer base in Chile.
The purchase is the latest in a series. Carryt bought Liftit at the end of 2023, a deal El Tiempo described as the most significant between two Colombian logistics companies in the Brazilian market in a decade. In 2024 it acquired the Mexican and Colombian operations of Argentina's Treggo, which added more than 30 customers to Carryt's base of more than 150 at the time, according to Cuervo. Treggo's co-founders Matias Lonardi and Nicolás Torchio joined Carryt as part of that deal.
LatamList reported that Carryt raised a $7.1 million round led by Arkangeles in February 2026, shortly before the Paket deal became public.
